Wildflower

One of many wildflowers from one of my favorite places I have visited- Squamish, British Columbia! While travelling with friends a few years ago we participated in a climbing festival with climbers from around the world! A brief moment of excellent weather gave me a chance to capture this image.

Bear Lake

Bear Lake in the Park is a popular destination for its beauty and easy access. It gets rather crowded seasonally, but is worth the hike with views like these! Can you spot the duck?

River Stones

This quiet, peaceful creek runs along the path just beyond Bear Lake. During your hike, all you can hear is the faint sound of running water and the wind blowing through the aspens. Rarely is there a soul in sight!

Sepia Sunset

I've always admired the work of Ansel Adams and I feel like his work with dark and light inspires my own. There is something that draws my attention to back-lit clouds and sunbursts. Standing atop the RMNP scenic loop's highest point, I stood and waited for the cloud and light to align perfectly.
